COVID-19 Updates

July 2020

Sidney Dental Hygiene Clinic has re-opened and is now available to serve your dental hygiene needs.

Our clinic has always had processes in place to avoid transmission of infectious diseases. While sterilization and cleanliness are a key component of our everyday practice, we have enhanced protocols in place to prevent the spread of Covid 19.

Your health and wellness is a top priority at our clinic and we have implemented the following changes to keep you safe:

  •  In between patient appointments the clinic door will be locked and the waiting room closed.
  • 30 min is reserved between patient appointments to allow for disinfecting of all surfaces and floors.
  • Patients will be asked about their health upon arrival and questions related to travel will be asked and screened accordingly.
  • All patients are asked to use hand-sanitizer upon entry into the clinic.
  • Clinic operates with a JADE air purifier, air exchanger, and a chair-side dual air purifier/exchanger.
  • All staff will have the following personal protection equipment;
    •  double mask: KN95 mask plus level I mask
    •  gowns
    •  face shield
  • Augmented hygiene and physical distancing are taken seriously.
  •  The clinic restroom will be closed at all times.

The Sidney Dental Hygiene Clinic is committed to your health, wellness and excellent oral hygiene. We are pleased to serve you in our clean environment.

COVID-19 Updates

January 2020

We hope each of you are staying safe during these unprecedented times.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic we remain closed. We monitor the restrictions currently in place in BC, and will not reopen until it is safe to do so. At this time we do not have a date to reopen. Once we do, we will contact you to reschedule all missed appointments.

Thank you for choosing us to provide your Dental Hygiene Services. We look forward to seeing our patients and welcoming new patients soon.

We will be making changes in our clinic to protect your health while following social distancing guidelines in the future. Things may seem a bit different, but you can take comfort in knowing everything we do will be done with your health and well-being as our top concern.

Until that day, stay healthy and observe social distancing as recommended by Dr. Bonnie Henry. You can maintain good oral hygiene at home, with continued daily brushing and flossing, and call us if any issues arise. We check messages daily. When we resume our hygiene practice we will help you get back on track!
